Angela Lee was born in China and has a Chinese and Singaporean background. After graduating from the National University of Singapore Business School with a degree in Finance, she began working for various fashion houses in Singapore. In 2019, Angela Lee moved to the United States to join the team at Parsons The New School for Design Fashion Institute of Technology while launching her own haute couture label.Angela Lee's passion for haute couture began with private clients in the United States, Europe, China, Taiwan, and Singapore, culminating in the launch of her critically acclaimed debut collection She soon opened her first collection in Singapore under the brand name of D'Arc Couture. She soon opened a fashion showroom in Singapore under the name Divine Designs Pte Ltd to showcase her high-end bridal and evening wear collections.

Each piece she designs and hand-sews blends Western culture with Eastern values. With her unique taste, she creates every woman's dream through her couture label in the United States. With exquisite craftsmanship and select materials such as lace and crystals, a great deal of time is spent on each piece, and a dress can take hundreds of hours to complete, with meticulous attention to detail throughout the process. All designs reflect his signature sophisticated, feminine style, delicate draping and exquisite attention to detail.
